Alternative Apps

In the past few blogs, I've been discussing the ins and outs of the application and website Ultimate Guitar. I feel I wouldn't be doing my due diligence if I didn't give you some alternatives. In the last few day’s I have looked at the following websites of these two alternatives and tried them out personally.

Yousician:

You have most likely seen this app advertised on YouTube. This would depends on your YouTube algorithms but for anyone who has ever looked up hoe to play a song on YouTube this is a very popular add. When entering the site to Yousician , It straight away asked me some useful questions. How skilled are you? , what instrument do you want to learn? how often do you practice?

With these questions answered it brought me to a page that was allowing me to set up a free trial.  To be honest I didn’t sign up for the trial but what I did was head straight to YouTube and saw a run through of the app. Some great features are accessible in Yousician. It is more of an app designed to teach you an instrument rather than teach you a song.

Fender Play

This app is developed by one of the biggest fish in the pond. Fender makes one of the greatest series of guitars the world has ever seen. So why wouldn’t they create a platform to learn some tunes. In the states fender play costs about 13 dollars a month so it is quite expensive. Is it really who it. From all the reviews I read it seems to be fantastic. I have attached another video below which will give you a great insight into how the app works.
